Coming out of Retirement, a little bit...

I have to put this code here: WHWVTTTF4VU4

I'm getting more into social media and am authenticating my blog.  There are all these blog search engines that I did nto know about!  Well, I want people to find me and to read what I have to say!
I guess that I am partly coming out of retirement.  I think it is because I have been busy promoting my Learn to swim with Miss Bea dvd on my website.

I also have a blog and a facebook page.  It has been exciting!  I had to decide to order my second thousand dvd's.  My sister-in-law, Debbie, changed my graphics and now I'm in my second edition, 2012!  I made the order today.  These past 2 weeks I realized how important my dvd could be if parents would just have it.  I firmly believe that parents can teach their children how to swim if they are not able to take them to swimming lessons.  But, they do have to make a commitment and take their kids to the pool on a regular basis.  My call is:   teach your kids a skill that they do not teach in schools that can save their life.  Teach them how to swim!

Getting stars for doing nice things for each other.

Let's be helpful to each other!  I found this link on Sandra McLeod Humphrey's facebook page.  She got it from the facebook page unconditional-love about God's love.  My grandchildren were here for dinner and they were talking about how to get stars.  They got stars if they did something nice for each.  They are getting ready to have a new brother or sister and Mom and Dad are trying to get them to be more loving to each other.  It seems to be working.  I'm going to show them this picture the next time I see them.

My Grandson is Scooting, not Crawling

My nine month grandson has decided on a better way to get around.  He knows what he wants and is going for it!  Have your ever seen this before?  Watch this video!  Maybe he's getting ready for swimming with all the kicking he is doing!

A Swimmer Died at the Jekyll Island Triathlon

Read my blog, Learn to Swim With Miss Bea for details of how the swimming was tragic in the Jekyll Island Triathlon this weekend.  My husband saw it happen!

The bathroom remodeling is done!!

Finally the frameless glass shower doors are installed.  I'm glad that we didn't get the header.

This is the only job that we used the lowest bid and they did a great job!  We decided not to get the showerguard or other sealer.  It was going to cost another $300.  We'll see how clean we can keep it!

My husband did most of the destruction. Robert sold most of the things: the tub, window, mirror, and vanities on Craig's List.  It was more than helpful that we did not have to figure out how to dispose of those things and that they are being used somewhere else.  The mirror went to a dancer.  The window became a picture window for a remodeling.  I love meeting the people who have them.  I can imagine what it is to know an organ donor...

The early work went slow.  I especially worked on the painting.

Then putting it all together wit the before picutures and decorating.

We are enjoying it!!

High Fiber Pasta Recipes to try!

Doctor Oz has some good recipes that I want to pin.  Sometimes it's just too complicated or too far out.  But these sound great and easy.
I like ithe ingredients and want to try it.  I don't know how the macaroni won't fall apart with 3 hours of cooking.
Next is the Hungry Girl's Fully Loaded Baked Ziti I love pasta.  Can't believe how few calories this has!.
I almost forgot these two!  My husband wants me to pin these!
